I am the Senior Counsel for Innovation Policy at the Computer and Communications Industry Association. My work there involves patent policy including inter partes review, standard essential patents, examination practices, and more, as well as artificial intelligence policy. I also teach as an adjunct at American University’s Washington College of Law.

My work has been cited in scholarly publications and legal briefs, and I have testified to Congress on proposed patent legislation, patent litigation remedies, and the intersection of IP and AI.

In the ample free time that leaves, I take photos of the sky.
